Hello SCCC members,

As the United States celebrates its 250th birthday, the Sioux City Camera Club has two opportunities for you to share your photographs with the community. We hope you’ll take part in one—or both—and help show the many ways we see America.

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

“250 Clicks” at the Betty Strong Gallery

December 8, 2026–January 17, 2027  |  Betty Strong Gallery, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Share patriotic, scenic, or dynamic photographs that reflect America. Images made during 2026 are preferred. Each participant is encouraged to submit two or three framed photographs.

Prints may be any size, matted and presented in 16 × 20-inch frames; black frames are preferred. Attach a label to the back of each frame with your name, image title, and contact information.

Deliver framed images to the gallery by December 1, 2026.

PUBLIC SLIDESHOW

Share Your Vision of America

January 10, 2027  |  Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center

Contribute approximately five to ten digital images that reflect the America 250 theme. Format them to competition size and include the title, your name, the location, and the event for each image.

Send images by December 1, 2026 to Carl Hardy at [email protected]. Carl will prepare the PowerPoint slideshow, which will be previewed at the club’s Christmas Party on December 10.

Photographers may speak about their images at the public program, but speaking is optional. Your photographs can help introduce the public to SCCC and invite others to get involved.
